Some women refuse to be written out of history.
A Christmas Eve wedding at America's most iconic castle should be a fairytale.
But that's not what they find.
When Ellen travels to Asheville for her son's wedding at the Biltmore Estate, she hopes for peace, celebration, and a fresh beginning for her growing family. But the moment she steps onto the historic grounds, she senses it—the weight of unfinished stories lingering beneath the grandeur.
Soon, Ghost Healers, Inc. finds themselves surrounded by spirits who refuse to remain silent.
Among them is one presence both fragile and fierce—a woman claiming to be Zelda Fitzgerald. Brilliant. Overshadowed. Misunderstood. Determined to have her story told.
But Zelda is not the only voice seeking justice.
As tensions between two feuding families threaten to overshadow the wedding and long-buried secrets surface within the estate's storied walls, Ellen and her friends must untangle history from legend—and decide how far they are willing to go to bring peace to spirits who may not want forgiveness . . . but recognition.
Because at the Biltmore, legacy matters.
And some women will not be erased.
In this atmospheric installment of the Mystery House Series, friendship, history, and the supernatural collide against the glittering backdrop of America's last castle.

Holiday Haunting at the Biltmore
I found this book and I liked the historic place it had taken place . I’ve read about the estate and where it’s located .. The ladies in the book remind me of my aunts when I was growing up . The sisterly bond and the family theme and of course the ghost made the book that more fascinating . The ladies shine in the books and I respect the fact that the ladies help the spirits move on and do it in a loving and caring way . Well written and I couldn’t put the book Down .,
Grand tour of americas castle
I read this in one day. I love all of the descriptions of the Biltmore castle the history and the gardens. Well written love the history and the books just get better and better each one I read of the series.
Paints perfect picture of Biltmore and Asheville
This story is so much like the real place of Biltmore house. And the author hit Asheville, NC to a tee. The biggest coincidence is how it was snowing at Christmas and the year the book came out, it actually snowed at Christmas in Asheville. That may seem small to you guys but here in western nc it’s pretty rare for that time of year. Anyway, the ladies are on another mission. It gets spooky in some places. I love these ladies. I think Sue is my favorite. I can’t give anything away but there was a time I was so sad about one character then to my surprise, it worked out to be ok. As for the mean ghost, I didn’t much like her. But this author has a way of writing characters where you can find good in any of them. Or at least understand why they are like they are. The picture painted of the Biltmore house and surrounding area is spot on. Doesn’t disappoint. It’s was cozy and warm and a good read for Christmas or anytime.
If you like audiobooks, try this one. The narration was pretty good. At times I wasn’t crazy about the narration but only on a few characters and occasions. I highly recommend it.
