A Journey Through Time

A Journey Through Time, is a book of poems about celebrating family, cherishing moments, reliving treasured times, embracing the past, remembering our family who paved the way for us.

Our journey through time begins when we are sheltered in our parents loving arms, peaceful days when the world was truly ours.

As we get older we are anxious to leave it all behind to conquer the world. We travel through time following our dreams. We have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, material things, and to climb the ladder of success. Our busy schedule keeps us from embracing the simple pleasures in life. Time flies by like a dream. When we wakeup from the dream we realize the journey is almost over, precious time gone forever.

Now older we realize we have to take a different path, start a new chapter in life, a new beginning. We were unable to find true happiness because we were racing through time. Now we have to reevaluate our priorities and find a balance in life.

Beloved memories embedded in the heart and soul brings us back to where the journey began. Remembering childhood days when we were lovingly guided by our parents and surrounded by an extended family. As a child we saw beyond the horizon, we had time to enjoy God’s beautiful creations, we lived our dreams instead of following our dreams. Each moment was magical. We lived each moment like it was our last.

As we take the journey back through time we long to see the world through the eyes of a child again.
