    A kid's View: Ancient Rome

My nine year old and I downloaded this book, having been to see the Pompeii exhibit at our local science museum. Inga was fascinated both with the picture Brandon paints of Rome and the fact that he was a year younger than she is at the time he wrote this.
I really enjoyed reading with Inga because her engagement level was high; She really enjoyed the interactive elements, especially the photos, and loved answering the questions.
    Great work, Brandon!

    A Kid’s View: Ancient Rome

This book is a really great read. Best for early independent readers, grades 2-4 or so. Brandon has used lots of great images and paints a nice picture of ancient Rome, as seen through a child’s eyes. The book is short, and holds a child’s attention. I’ve not seen many child-authors, so this is especially wonderful for kids to read and teaches them also what they can accomplish!
