I almost quit reading around page 50. It didn’t catch my interest but thought I’d at least try a little longer. Glad I did. The plot thickens. Pretty good. 7 31 2024 Camie12
A multiple murder
Laura goes in the house to check on her friends and feels a sense of foreboding. There’s a strange coppery odor. She calls out but no one answers. She checks all the rooms downstairs first then proceeds upstairs. What she finds is too horrible to comprehend! Her friends and their two daughters are dead, murdered in their sleep! Who could have done such a thing!???
This book is unputdownable! Great characters. Lots of twists. A must read!
Incredibly sad murders and deception of family.
I had an inkling of suspicion of Laura’s husband. Not liking horses, always being too perfect… This is a surprising read and I highly recommend it.
