But when Kaitlyn dies at the festival, apparently poisoned after filming Win's TV spot, Kaitlyn's grief-stricken boyfriend begs Win to help him find out who killed her. Besides a picturesque setting and a cast of appealing secondary characters, Collette has created a truly original protagonist in Win, the proprietor of the town's first Black-owned business and the world's most reluctant investigator. Readers will want to see a lot more of the tenderhearted Win.

Pretty Great
Throughly enjoyed the third installment of this series. It had me in the beginning and Ms. Collette had me guessing who did it the entire time!
I will say that I didn’t care for the beginning as I felt as if we were getting all this new back story for Wyn that seemed to come out of nowhere. No mention of most of the characters she’s known for years in either of the previous 2 books.
Overall a great read and I have already recommended this series to a work friend!
