Publisher Description
A pleasant surprise awaits Yuto and the gang upon their return from the Earth Elemental Gate: at long last, the cherry blossom tree they planted is in full bloom. Recalling his unfulfilled request from NPCs Spade, Ryver, and Pisco to invite them to a flower-viewing picnic, Yuto pays them a visit, and asks a few friends while he’s at it. With other players jumping at the chance to interact with his monsters, a huge crowd assembles at Yuto’s farm, and the picnic becomes a grand affair. In the midst of it all, several Tamers’ eggs begin to hatch, including Yuto’s “Earth Dragon” egg. What starts as a fun and laid-back picnic is soon anything but...

Flower-Viewing Party and Socializing
This volume is mostly about in-game socializing and more scenery, though there’s also a major boss fight and a bit of dungeon-crawling. The series is keeping up the parallels between the protagonist Yuto and Maple from the Bofuri series - both constantly trip over low-probability situations, though unlike Maple, Yuto doesn’t tend to gain combat power from them. But unwitting social notoriety is certainly a thing for both of them. Another parallel is the rich game world design in both series - these are both games I’d love to play in; so much more going on here than “kill next monster, collect drops” that is the characteristic model for most real world MMORPGs. Even though there’s not really much of anything resembling plot here, I greatly enjoy the growing cast of somewhat eccentric players, and definitely look forward to more of the series.
