Freedom!
Wow! A powerful book that shows the difference between freedom because of war and law and true freedom!
Grady was written well and if we allow it to let us search our hearts and reveals what is possibly hidden in our hearts.
Disappointing ending
Loved the book…all the way up to the end. Almost felt like I had a chapter missing from the book.
Another Excellent Book by Lynn Austin!
My husband and I really enjoyed this trilogy about the Civil War, seeing what it was like for the Southerners in the first book, the Northerners in the second and finally as a slave during the war. Such amazing attention to detail in each one, making the reader feel as if they were living through it themselves. Our hats off to Lynn Austin for her EXCELLENT work and research, all the while weaving the lives of her characters in the telling.
