————————
Satoshi Yoshida has recently transferred from the bustling city of Sendai, Japan to a new high school in the sleepy town of Shizukana. Struggling with his newfound popularity, Satoshi tries to adapt to his surroundings, but new friends, new teachers and exams will turn out to be the least of his worries.
There is a dark and terrifying presence in Shizukana High School. While they sleep, it draws students and faculty alike inside a nightmarish version of their school. A presence that seeks to entomb the souls of its victims forever within.
The body count is quickly rising and unless Shizukana High School's ostracized and meager Occult Club is able to purify the darkness swiftly... there may be no one left to save.
A Lullaby Sinister: Dying in your sleep is anything but peaceful.

Fantastic book, an absolute steal at $2.99
This book was thrilling from the first chapter all the way until the end, it is definitely one of my favorites. It's a great mystery, and LeBlanc does an awesome job of keeping the reader entertained throughout the whole serial novel. I'm glad I got a chance to read it all at once, because I don't think I would have been able to handle the suspense between chapter releases.
One of the things that really sets this work apart from other writers is Leblanc's use of a simple diagram at the beginning of the book, the character biographies at the end, and a few short video clips throughout. These small elements really add to the story and they show how talented and dedicated LeBlanc is to the story and the characters in it.
For a young author, Leblanc shows a lot of promise and potential, his ability to keep the ending a mystery until the last page made it even better. I can't wait to read the rest of his work, including the prequel in progress (An Overture Sinister).
I'm shuddering but want more
This ... Is ... horror - at it's finest! And how can I be laughing when I have just seen ... that! Author Stefan LeBlanc has this way of making me stand right beside each gruesome discovery and even characters whose personalities I thought I would not miss if they proved to be next, pull at my heart strings as their final moments prove to be too few and my time with them dies. Such a roller coaster of the macabre, finding myself at the end of the ride I want to go again. So yes, I am defintely getting this Carnage Edition, and anything else this writer brings out.
Can’t Wait
I’m a diehard fan of A Lullaby Sinister and I can’t wait for this release. I said it before and I’ll say it again, this book leaves a strange yet wonderful taste in the mouth. It’s bloody, it’s gory, it’s disgusting, sometimes hilarious, sometimes depressing. Nightmare fuel at its finest with a mix of peaceful slice of life interludes. The book revels in the bloodbath it creates and the executions of each student starts to become somewhat of a guilty pleasure. Highly recommended.
