Cute, wholesome short story!
This book was a sweet way to spend a quiet afternoon. The writing is simple but not boring—and the storyline progressed nicely for how short the book is. The romance was PG—all kisses and no sex, but still passionate. It had a few interesting twists and turns and overall I enjoyed the direction of the ending! A very nice HEA and a tender epilogue. Perfect for fans of clean romance and hallmark-like characters.
Loved the characters and the storyline.
Overall a great story, full of sweet heart felt moments, twists and turns, even if slightly predictable. Writing was done well and the author had a basic knowledge of the time period which rounded out the story nicely. I would recommend.
