This is a real gem!
Our hero, Max, feels as if he doesn’t have any friends. He’s lonely. I love seeing this big, grumpy guy turn to mush with a bit of adoration from a little kid. Watching him taking care of these little ones would charm any woman. Having babies / little ones is highly unlikely for most Xeno Sapiens. Every single one of them treats children as little treasures - and they are!
Elena is a survivor! She will keep her little ones safe whatever the cost to herself. Watching her blossom under Max’s care is a thrill! The two of them are delightful together.
