"This was my first book from the author, and I really enjoyed his characters and style of writing. The story is set in Houston, Texas and the main character Heat, a private investigator, is a no nonsense bad _ss looking to find out who murdered his estranged partner, to either bring them to justice, or better yet make them pay.
