Publisher Description
Two teens, one outlaw, alone in the wilderness
In the Old West, Joshua Brookings faces a long journey from Illinois to Montana with his 15 year old sister, Ruth. When their stagecoach is robbed and everyone else is killed, their faith is tested as tey run for their lives in the Wyoming wilderness.
As danger increases and food is getting harder to find, Joshua must choose between finding the fasted way to civilization and risking their lives by confronting the outlaw who is after them.
A Mighty Fortress is a redemptive Christian historical novel about trusting God and survival in the Wild West.
Book #1 in the Hymns of the West. A clean, faith-affirming story for readers of Laura Ingalls Wilder, Louis L'Amour, and Janette Oke.

Jesus loves everyone
Makes you think about how many people die without accepting Jesus as their savior. When the opportunity comes we must forgive those who do us wrong and encourage them to believe and be saved.
Wow
Few books make me cry.
Trust and Obey
I good read. I enjoyed the two parts coming together so smoothly. It had a warm family feel when Joshua & Ruth were featured.
The only problem I had was that they stopped short on the plan of salvation. In Acts, in every single instance of someone receiving salvation, the party was saved, washed clean of their sin, when they arose from the water of baptism. It’s an integral part that cannot be left out of the plan.
