A Mug's Game

Jimmie Barlow, quite possibly San Francisco's most brilliant teenage boy, has fallen for a girl--well, woman--who doesn't have a soul, she has a plan. Lured into a virtual reality game, Jimmie soon realizes he's not playing with pansy-ass video gamers, he's playing with real life killers.
