It could have been great!
Too many grammatical errors -both in punctuation but also in speech, word order, subject/verb agreement, and verb tense consistency.
Other mistakes such as referring to/calling characters by the wrong name -often with the names of the main two antagonists.
As the story itself, it was okay, and just okay. My biggest annoyance was the introduction of a new major conflict/plot that was left unresolved/unanswered.
