A new perspective
An absolute classic. An important read for anyone who wishes to really understand America's revolution through the eyes of the soldiers who experienced it. The trials and sufferings of the continental soldiers can never be fully understood but Martin does an excellent job giving a new perspective to the classic stories ranging from the horrors of the winter camps to the crushing victory at Yorktown.
