A Navy Homecoming
Which was the real mistake—the marriage or the divorce?
Fate has given Colette Thomas a second chance to fix her biggest screw-up. Too bad her ex-husband, Casey Thomas, wants nothing to do with her. She broke his heart once before and he's not down with repeating the experience. Thankfully, fate (and friends) has stepped in and Colette and Casey find themselves sharing the same one-bedroom cabin at a resort in the Smoky Mountains.
The smart thing to do would be to walk away, but the universe keeps throwing roadblocks in their way as does their stubborn temperaments. Forced to face their past, can they see the fine line between love and hate? Can they find the strength to forgive? And can they find the courage to take a second chance on love?
Do you love a second-chance romance or hot, active-duty military men? If so, this is your jam.
This was a sweet second chance read. I really enjoy this book from a new author. I just wished Casey and Colette hadn’t waited so long to reconcile but being older probably helped them make better decisions this time around.
