“All rise, the Honorable Judge Davis presiding.”
With her husband back on the bench following a life-threatening explosion of the courthouse three months ago, another unplanned pregnancy, her fairly new job as Director of Children’s Services, along with the increasing number of cases, Sadey Davis is calling it just another Tuesday in her life.
However, when Sadey’s gut feeling about a missing boy leads to an investigation of human trafficking, Sheriff Leland Davis, alongside the FBI, begins an all-hands-on-deck search and rescue for teenage boys who had been placed in group homes all along the east coast. Sadey’s direct involvement leads to more pulling on her heartstrings and danger for her and her family. After the Governor and FBI Director hold a press conference giving Sadey the credit, one angry pedophile makes an attempt on Sadey’s life, which is just another Tuesday for her as well. But, when that attempt hurts her daughter, and almost takes the life of her unborn child, Sadey must make the most difficult decision of her life.
Is her job worth the risk?
