A Path towards Being and Transcending

What does our learning space look and what does it feel like today? What should the ends and purposes of today’s
education be in order to address the challenges we are facing in the 21st Century? We certainly need new human capabilities that enable us to think together, understand and integrate different points of view, create innovative ideas, collaborate, coordinate creative processes, work in an interdisciplinary way and with various sectors and actors, benefitting from both technology and creativity, sensitivity and human intelligence. A path towards being and transcending presents an educational vision through dia Mediation methodology, which offers a transcendental and wide vision of education, containing ethic and aesthetic principles, that calls us to reflect and function as actors involved with the
environment where we live and which we create. Having a solid theoretical and methodological basis, this book intends to share what we have learned about how to stimulate and nurture learning processes inside and outside
schools; how to stir human potentialities in order to act in this changing world as intelligent, sensitive, flexible and committed human beings.
