He never saw her coming…
Spencer Lark already knows too many secrets about Arizona Storm, including the nightmare she survived and her resulting trust issues. But in order to expose a smuggling ring—and continue avenging his own tragic past—the bounty hunter reluctantly agrees to make Arizona a decoy. Yet nothing has equipped him for her hypnotic blend of fragility and bravery, or for the protective instincts she stirs in him.
Arizona wants to reclaim her life, which means acting as bait to lure the enemy into a trap. Sure it's dangerous, especially with a partner as distractingly appealing as Spencer. But as their plan—and their chemistry—shifts into high gear, Arizona may discover there's an even greater risk in surrendering her heart to a hero….
Bestseller Foster seamlessly fits the private mercenaries from the first three Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor books into this volume while giving leading roles to bounty hunter Spencer Lark and rescued sex slave Arizona Storm, who played supporting roles in Savor the Danger. A vengeful survivor, Arizona makes it her life mission to stop human traffickers, even using herself as bait. Widowed Spencer works his way through grief as he tries to shield Arizona. But how can he protect a 21-year-old who thinks the best birthday present ever is a lethal knife she can tuck in the back of her jeans? Foster has an amazing ability to capture a man's emotions and lust with sizzling sex scenes and meld it with a strong woman's point of view. She draws a realistic picture of an evil world of human traffickers and makes the larger-than-life good guys believable, too.

I’ve not read a romance where there was so much care written about the experience of someone whose been through sexual abuse as lovely as this. The man I love treated me like Spencer learned to take care of Arizona. Thank you Lori Foster. Spencer and Arizona’s story is very dear and close to my heart.
