A Pineville June Bride

The usually 'untalkative' Myrtle is bending anyone's ear in town who will listen about her lovely daughter and what a great wedding she will have.  She regales everyone with timetables, details, and bragging about her daughter as though she were the only bride on Earth.

Susan feels assured that even though she and Dennis lived in Florida, things will run smoothly for their Pineville celebration as long as they follow her mom's tried and true method for wedding planning.  Everyone who listened to Myrtle had weddings that ran like clockwork, and being a force with which to be reckoned, few people didn't follow her advice.  It was set in stone that anything Myrtle Hodges planned went well.

Yet, even in Pineville, and even with Myrtle leading the planning, life doesn't always go as anticipated.
