This Christmas a lump of coal might just turn into a diamond….
Natalie Gonzalez-Torres has never been a fan of Christmas. As the manager of her family’s coffee shop, she avoids all the holiday kitch. But this year, her uncle assigns her to run a coffee cart at Poinsettia Paradise tree farm to prove she’s ready to become a full partner. The assignment feels like a lump of coal in her non-existent stocking, until a Christmas tree farmer helps uncover her inner elf. Too bad she’s already given up on finding love.
Mason Lavigne bursts with expansion and improvement ideas for his family’s Christmas Tree Farm, but his dad still still sees him as a kid. This Christmas, Mason’s determined to prove his worth, especially after his dad mentions he’s thinking of selling. With his stress off the charts, helping Natalie is a bright light this holiday season as long as Mason’s not distracted from his mission by her sparkling eyes and quick wit. They both have something to prove but doing it together might be more than they can resist.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Amesta (Striking Gold) returns with a cheery Christmas romance about taking chances in love. Natalie Gonzalez-Torres, manager of her uncle's coffee house, Pony Expresso, wants to be a partner in the business, so when Tío Enrique agrees to her idea of expanding their operation with a coffee truck, she jumps at the chance to prove to herself. There's just one problem: the mobile shop will be set up on Poinsettia Paradise Christmas tree farm—and Natalie hates Christmas. She views herself as a tradition-averse bad girl, even going so far as to frequently refer to herself as a "villain," and she has no interest in festivities—or love, for that matter. Enter eternal optimist Mason Lavigne, the son of Poinsettia Paradise's owners. Good natured Mason is instantly smitten with Natalie and determined to show her how fun the holiday season can be. At the same time, Mason must demonstrate his capabilities to his father, who, on the verge of retirement, still views Mason as a child. Mason has experienced his own share of heartbreak, but that doesn't daunt him from pursuing love—even in the face of Natalie's insistence that he's a "Prince Charming" she's unworthy of loving. Their romance is slow-burning but gratifying, enhanced by wit and mutual understanding. Amesta makes this sing.

A Poinsettia Paradise Christmas
A Poinsettia Paradise Christmas is book 2 in the Love in El Dorado series by Janine Amesta, a new to me author.
What happens when opposites meet, there’s attraction and chemistry but both need to prove they are up for the challenge and the holiday is right around the corner…living by your own rules, family dynamics, push and pull, emotional, opening up your heart and more…
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy (ARC) of this book from Tule Publishing. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Chance Encounter
Mason is struck by Natalie’s beauty. He is unable to order coffee and allows her to decide for him. What she doesn’t expect is that for the next several weeks she will get to know Mason. She will go back and forth trying to decide if she should leave him or love him. Mason buys ornaments that will remind Natalie of their dates. She secretly loves the Christmas tree but hates the holiday. Can Mason turn her around?
I really enjoyed the story of Natalie and Mason. Natalie is you! You hate Christmas because everyone thinks the holiday is about love and giving. Mason is the sweet lovable guy that is your friend and not boyfriend. You secretly hope that Mason will have his chance to win the girl!
I received an arc and this is my honest review.
