A Primer On Pauline Doctrine

Volume two in the Age of Grace series presents the Apostle Paul's doctrines as distinct from his former Hebrew understanding and from Greek philosophy. A brief explanation of Paul's epistles is followed by an in-depth exegesis of Romans 1 through 8 using Newell's translation. Then, a primer on the mystery of Christ and His Body is presented, followed by an explanation of fifteen other areas of doctrine, including sanctification, the old man and new man, the Bema Judgment, the Rapture, the role of women in the churches, and the gifts of the Spirit. The contrasts between Paul's doctrine in this dispensation of grace and that of Hebrew theology, Judaism, Gnosticism and Greek religion are briefly explained throughout.
