Solid Gold in the Hart Billionaires Series
Stephanie Rowe’s newest installation of the Hart Billionaires is gold. Another flawed hero protects a mother and the child of her heart from extreme circumstances while finding their own brand of weirdo love. The only problem with this book is I know how long the wait will be for another one of the Hart’s to get their own HEA.

3rd in the Hart Ranch Billionaires series which is a spin off of the Wyoming Rebel series. Contemporary romance. Can be read as a stand-alone but better as part of the series to appreciate the family and connections aspect.
Phoebe Sheridan is a single mom. She wants her child to never know the fear that’s she’s experienced at the hand of her ex husband. But Annie’s father just got out of jail and is a threat. So phoebe and Annie must go into hiding.
Jacob Hart is a loner. Even though he has made family, he is the most comfortable alone with his rescued horses. Jacob picks up Phoebe and Annie and takes them to his secure ranch. He has all the security needed to protect them. But he didn’t think to protect his heart and now he’s no longer content to be alone.
Found family. Found love.
I didn’t want this to end. I could have finished it three days ago. But I love these romances so much. They start with broken souls. It’s pure heartbreak. Then two find each other. They learn to grow, to heal and eventually to love. They find peace.
These stories are so touchingly romantic and heartwarming and satisfying. I’m inevitably crying because it’s so right. I don’t want them to end.
We all know what a book hangover is and I experience that with each of these books. A love, that for them, is the perfect one.
Hope and resilience
I just loved the story, because I identify with broken people, but the biggest takeaway I got from this is how the human spirit, even when beaten down and hurting, wants to find a way to thrive and be strong. Jacob tried to wall himself away to protect his heart against further hurt, but once he realized there was something beyond more hurt to feel, he kept reaching toward that love and joy in his life. Same for Phoebe, yet she first started breaking her barriers with her daughter, but that just makes it easier for to let Jacob into her circle. I was engaged from the first page, and loved the whole romance even as it was driven by the threat of losing it all. A book you want to get lost in when you have time to read it cover to cover!
