Excellent Academic Insight
First, this book was horribly translated. It feels like a spanish book typed into google translator.
That being said, this book offers a great insight into the South American culture. Traditional Japanese customs and historical information are almost ignored, but the author's writing is heavily infused with south American tradition, writing style, and culture.
If you know Spanish, or at least another language, you'll appreciate it more. But if you're trying to enjoy a story, you won't find much here.
