Left Me Wanting More
A true Jo Beverley fan, I couldn't wait to read this, her latest. She's the best historical romance writer-- and I've read many. A Scandalous Countess is unique in that the heroine is a very young, rich widow who loved her young husband and the hero is a poor, disfigured heir to a neglected estate. I loved the characters, the research Beverley put into her work, and how she tied characters from her older best sellers in it. The only problem I have is the ending left me hanging. I wanted more.
