Beautiful and sweet
A beautiful story of two 16 year olds falling in love she's deceased and she's thinking back in time remembering how it happened. It's told from Melody and Zach's point of view which I loved. You'll cry, most likely so have some tissues handy. The writing was great and the story flows easily and the characters are well developed.

Quick but brutal
I wanted to love this book and I think I could have if it were longer so that the ghost mystery could be explained and the ending is just so abrupt. It’s certainly no HEA. That’s ok I knew it going in but it was so abrupt it left me feeling shell shocked.
Beautiful story of young love and loss
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. This book will shake you to your core. I can honestly say that this is the first time that I’ve cried while finishing a book. What happens when your life is taken from you and you haven’t even begun to live yet? You are stuck wishing you had done more, but at least you had the chance to fall in love. When Zach and Melody meet in boarding school, she’s not the most welcoming, but can’t help but notice how freaking hot he is and the teacher just assigned her to him to show him around and get him settled. The more time Zach spends with Melody the more he likes her, she’s special, talented and a caring person. He’s never stayed in one place long enough to have a relationship with anyone and he wants that with her. Their story is so touching, true and believable, young love is amazing especially when you find the one. You never know how long you have with anyone, so you need to grab onto it and hold on tight. This is a quick read, I highly recommend it, you will need tissues for sure. This book was a break from what I usually read, the dark, controlling alpha males, it was refreshing and I needed a good cry. Loved it.
