An obnoxious cat magazine journalist is found dead at the bottom of a non-working elevator shaft and the police determine it is murder. This being the first big convention the hotel has had, Nora attempts to solve the journalist’s murder but finds she is allergic to cats and sneezes at the most inappropriate times. The most curious thing about the murder is they find traces of dog hair on the dead journalist’s jacket. The convention organizers threaten sheriff Tuck’s aunt Marty with ruin, so Nora must find the canine-loving murderer.
