This soldier is on a mission—a picture perfect proposal that she can’t refuse.
A standalone holiday story from New York Times bestselling author Vivian Arend.
Mack Klassen is no longer a Canadian Air Force firefighter, but he’s still fighting fires. The one burning between him and a certain small town mechanic might be the hottest he’s ever faced. When Brooke Silver requests his help in making this holiday season extra special, it’s the opportunity he’s been waiting for. A chance to impress her, impress her seemingly unenthusiastic father—and finally find the perfect way to ask an all-important question about forever.
After Brooke catches her dad muttering about an old-fashioned Christmas, she enlists Mack and her friends in Heart Falls to make this holiday season one for the memory books. Cookies, decorations, songs and presents—it should be easy, but between one disaster after another and the impending arrival of the storm of the decade, the perfect festive season seems to be slipping away.
Then suddenly it’s not about the day but surviving long enough to enjoy their future. It’s going to take a holiday miracle for everyone’s wishes to come true.

Feel good Christmas love story
Brooke and Mack’s story is a tender, heart warming love story that takes place during the holidays. It’s a great book to cozy up to the fire and drink a cup of coco. Ms. Arend draws the reader into the story with her idyllic small town of Heart Falls. While Brooke and Mack try to recreate a memorable Christmas for Gary they make memories of their own. It’s a sweet addition to the series. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series featuring Ryan.

Out of all my readings from VIvian Arend this is the most smooth happy ending love story. Traditions and remembrance is a key for this love story and to be honest I enjoy myself with this book.
Love the Christmas spirit
This is Book 2 in the Holidays in Heart Falls series. It can be read as a standalone so if you haven’t read book 1 that’s okay. This was a very enjoyable book to read, especially if you have a lot of Christmas spirit. Brooke wants to make her dad happy when she overhears him talking about having an old-fashioned Christmas. She goes to all her friends and Mack, who thinks Brooke is hotter than the 4th of July. It shouldn’t be hard to have an old-fashioned Christmas, right? Unless it’s the one during a major storm. The heat between Mack and Brooke should be hot enough to melt all the snow but I don’t guess it works like that. I couldn’t but it down until I finished it because I had to see if they had a Christmas miracle. I highly recommend it if you like a good Christmas romance. I loved it.
