Inspirational references are limited to a few mentions of prayers. A well-crafted story for fans of Regency novels.

Sarah Ladd's novels draw you in and keep you enthralled. This novel was no exception. The characters we're vividly portrayed. The story held me in suspense. I enjoyed spending time in the historical setting she created. The love story built naturally and was satisfying. Some of the language struck me as too modern, but only occasionally. I have read all of her books and I recommend them. This book wonderfully blended thoughtfully written romance, uplifting themes, intriguing characters, and an absorbing plot. Well done, Sarah.

I loved it! The characters are engaging and the love story is a sweet romance. This an excellent book and the author is an amazing writer. This is a must read series!
