Makes you look for the extraordinary in everyday life
A small book packed with a big story. Normally I read non-fiction. But I’m glad I picked up this book. From the very beginning it’s clear the author knows her characters. Through direct, but vivid prose, I.P. Powers immerses her readers in the story she’s telling. I loved the way a simple mundane train ride could become an exciting story. Now I’m looking for those moments in my own life.
It was impossible to tear myself away! Much like Jan Karron, Powers gently but powerfully exposes our human conditions and offers freedom through community and connection.
I’m looking for the next book by this author. Highly recommend
