As a leader, I ask myself, as much as I'm asked, 'How do I exert effective leadership?'
In other words: How do I maintain control while continuing to operate my organization efficiently & effectively, without giving myself a stroke in the process?!
I'd be lying if I said it was innate to my genes, or I learned it in the crib along with mobiles and mother's milk...
This book by Dr. Bart is a Huge reason for my success, and really the best organizational book I've come across since some of Drucker's works in the 1980s. And more condensed, too!
Chris simplifies this mightily for us----he breaks it down to 4 Questions>>> the answers to which set me on a course at once so obvious (why didn't I think of it, right?), yet so profound in the changes it wrought upon my company once implemented.
I'd bet nickels to nuts any serious manager'll have a similar 'Revelation' with this book as well.
