A Terrible Binding

First introduced in the story "The Gift of the Boneflower," the pale stranger, Levi, finds himself in the Alleghenies at a house perched at the edge of a vast and looming forest, where the door is answered by a young boy. Alone except for his mind-addled father, Matthew's sleep has been disturbed by an unnameable dread of the forest that fills his nights like a fog. Levi has been sent to help and together, they search for the root of the disturbance. But when they find their quarry, will they also find themselves gravely overmatched?
