The book is a Classic western. The book starts with a guy getting held up by a cute schoolmarm because she needs his horses. (Her bro, recently escaped from prison, has a broken leg, and she hasn't got the cash to buy the horses outright. Hence, highway robbery).

Classic western tale
Good versus evil, classic Western tale, enjoyable to the end, as the author wrote the story itself, very well.
This particular ebook however was proofread poorly (if at all) and has numerous spelling errors. So many in fact, that I started to doubt the ‘phonetically spelled’ western dialogue; which took me out of a causal reading mode into analyzing/guessing at intent. Thus, the four star rating.
One town, one Ranger
The book had my attention from the first paragraph. The story and characters were realistic enough with a hint of mystery.
