A Thought in the Mind of God

Everything that exists is a thought in the mind of God, sustained by His will, authored by His purpose, and held together by personal covenants of love.

One sentence. This book derives an entire systematic theology from it - thirty chapters, from the nature of reality to the resurrection of the body, with the appendices, indexes, glossary, and scriptural proof you need to check every step.

It is not a summary of a tradition. It is a construction. Beginning from a single claim about what reality is, it builds the whole house in order: creation and the decrees, the origin of evil, covenant and grace, the person and work of Christ, the new birth, the church, and the last things. Every move is shown, not asserted, so a reader with no formal training can follow the reasoning from the first page to the last and weigh it against the Scriptures it quotes.

That is the method, and it does not bend: it will not ask you to take its word for anything. It puts the verses and the logic in the open and asks only that you read the texts for yourself and decide whether the tradition or the text has been carrying you.

The voice is plain - a man at a table telling you what he learned the hard way, not a lecture from behind a desk. And the hard questions are not avoided. The problem of evil, the nature of hell, the freedom of the will, the meaning of the covenants, the shape of the end - the sharpest places are where the book goes first, and it holds the sharpest doctrine in the widest arms.

I did not set out to overturn anything. I followed one sentence past the place the tradition told me to stop, and it cost me the welcome of the rooms I came from.
