David Nathan’s home in Copenhagen has always been filled with laughter, family, and his father’s famous pastries. But life has changed since Nazi soldiers arrived. Sweets are scarce. His parents are worried. And even though David wants to be brave, the soldiers and their new rules have made everyone nervous. Then one day, David is asked to keep a very special secret.
