A Tribute to the Obo Addy Legacy Project

Publisher Description

This publication marks the first collaboration between  Oregon State University, the Oregon Multicultural Archives (OMA), the Obo Addy Legacy Project, and Pioneer Publishers.

We begin with a brief look into the vast holdings of artifacts, memorabilia and the ‘physical’ history of the Obo Addy Legacy Project (OALP) which reside within the Special Collections and Archives Research Center at Oregon State University (SCARC).

We feature coverage of a pair of events that brought OALP to the OSU campus for an international discussion panel and an evening performance by Okropong. Both events were coordinated and sponsored by Natalia Fernandez in the OMA and the Lonnie B. Harris Black Cultural Center during Black History Month, 2015
