Tormented by their fated attraction. Forbidden to be together. He'll give his life to protect her. Even from himself.
Nikulas finally has a new lead on his brother's disappearance, a feisty witch named Emma Moss. The problem? Emma is smart and courageous and her scent is impossible to resist. And that scares the hell out of him. Emma deserves more than an eternity with a vampire, but the moment he tastes her blood, Nik knows it's too late. Her life is now linked to his.
Emma still has nightmares about the night her sister was kidnapped—the scars she bears all over her body a constant reminder of what happened—but she hasn't given up hope. So, when a seductive stranger calls claiming to have a new lead, she doesn't hesitate to go meet him. With his teasing manner and pretty-boy looks, Nikulas seemed harmless enough for a vampire. But Emma could sense the predator beneath…
He needs her to survive. But can Nikulas save her from the one thing that may ultimately destroy her—himself.
The witch is MINE.
Couldn’t put it down
Anything negative I could say Wouldn’t matter because I just couldn’t stop reading this book once I started!!
3 stars cause I find it hilarious
I’m guessing this is a new author and a young one as well.
There is sooo much detail and explaining everything that I find myself skipping half a page at times. Let the reader imagine something otherwise we imagine nothing because it’s too much.
The main female is described as petite but then during sexy times she’s curvy and voluminous. She also gets turned on after shaking the main males hand? I about spit my tea giggling when he was described as 240 pounds at 6’1” with a narrow waist. Dude must have King Kong thighs.
The punctuation definitely needs work. There’s so many statements that are ending with question marks and questions ending with periods.
If you’re into fanfic like writing or just want to pass some time it’s a great book for you. Other wise I’d say it’s best to look for a different sexy vampire story
Such a good book!
I really enjoyed this, I thought it was an interesting take on the whole vampire thing and it was really good. I loved it all and I was so thrilled to see Emma stand up for what she believes in (and she wasn’t that dumb/I mean she was dumb but she also didn’t know anything about the paranormal world). I really enjoyed the Scottish and I’m definitely intrigued on the next books (however I’m extremely poor so I cannot afford them). I really loved the different characters and how you had given them real struggles (Aid was interesting needless to say). And the ending was a happily ever after although there are quite a few loose strings, and I shalln’t spoil it. But this book is sooo good, would recommend definitely try it!
