Were they fans of the shows at all?
Aside from their assessment if the Cousin Bobby episode ( ableist and patronizing to start), and the BH90210 reboot, I find myself baffled at this book. It’s a poor attempt at humor, and totally disregards the fact that just because something seems corny and cliché NOW, it doesn’t mean that we didn’t love it for what it was then. And fans look back on it with the same love and devotion that they had then. This book is the written version of a private conversation that’s best left behind closed doors.
The cover art and illustrations within the book are cute, so there’s that.
