Loved it!
Such an interesting case for Sasha to resolve in “A Walking Shadow”. From the start, you are pulled in to the strange case Daniel has given her. I always learn something interesting from Sasha’s adventures and the case of the non-payment payment is one I sure wasn’t aware could happen. As with most Sasha novels, I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and really love how the other shoe I’m this novel was bigger than a fight in an alley. I found myself feeling Sasha’s exhaustion and growing concerned about what was happening to her, only to have her burnout resonate so fully. I love that the heroine we all know and love recognizes her own humanity and challenges herself to make the space to find peace, excitement and ultimately a new path forward. My excitement and anticipation at the new adventures Sasha and Leo will have, working together is unmatched. It’s going to be so good!
