A Way Among so Many

Personally, I think that growing up is like entering the house of a stranger. I have no idea where the other exit is. Is the kitchen on the right or the left? Are the bedrooms upstairs or in the basement? Does the nice blue vase on the bookshelf have a monetary value or a sentimental one? If the owner is not there to answer my questions, maybe I can guess the answers, but I could be wrong.

My intention in growing up is to become the master of my internal property. I want my doors and windows to be wide open to welcome life. But I want a guard at the door with strict instructions. He knows that inside, there are treasurers to protect.
