A loving collaboration of mother and daughter and everyday home gourmet cooks Sally Clayton and Lee Clayton Roper, A Well-Seasoned Kitchen® showcases their cooking and entertaining style. When Sally began to suffer from osteoporosis and early-stage memory loss, it was natural for Lee to engage her mother by evoking family memories of their times in the kitchen. The result is a cookbook of classic recipes for the contemporary cook—simple, delicious and beautiful fare perfect for everyday and entertaining. Anecdotes combined with photos of the Clayton family add a special touch.

The 272-page cookbook contains more than 180 recipes, planning menus and helpful tips with mouth-watering photos of Sally and Lee’s favorite dishes. Many of the recipes come with make-ahead tips for those who like to prepare meals in advance so they can spend less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying their family or guests.
