A sparkling romance, with witches and werewovles
In the previous book, Lathen and Pepper met and fell in love, after going through some dramatic events together (I won't spoil it by telling you what). Now, they're engaged and preparing for their--you guessed it--holiday wedding! I love Christmas-y stories, I love paranormal romance, and I love skilled writing. Tena Stetler brings all three to the table with this charming story.
These two are no typical couple. She's a witch and he's a werewolf; their families are paranormal too, and their friends are delightfully quirky. While preparing for their nuptials they must accommodate Pepper's aunt, who just happens to be a ghost, as well as deal with Lathen's wolfy family. Then there's a secret mission for Lathen and some other complications, but we know in the end everything will work out for the couple. That's the true joy of reading a romance--the certainty of a happy ending, married with the pleasure of going on the journey to happiness with the characters.
I highly recommend this sparkling tale to all fans of romance in general, and paranormal romance in particular.
