Although the premise seemed interesting the story dragged. Too much inner turmoil which was repeated too often. It’s as if the author was preoccupied with a certain word count. The leading male character was not a true alpha; he seemed too young and hesitant. The lead female was made to be pretty and to need protection, but not much else. All the brothers’ ages were set too young to fit within the prescribed social norms and expectations of Regency society
