I thought the first book in the series was amazing. Am I God Gobland, then I read this book, and I found myself mystified by the artistic poetic prose provided by Papoose in this sequel.

I laughed and cried at least two dozen times before reaching the ending of the book, which had me misty eyes for reasons I won’t reveal to not ruin the ending. Some readers might not have the same reaction, but I dare say this book outdid the previous book in the series without taking away the magic of either volume.

I can’t wait for the next or supposedly final sequel to this trilogy. Where before I compared him to famous writers, I know think it is them that should be compared to Papoose. He has reinvented the art of language and defined a voice and style all his own. I would classify this as urban fantasy, but I’m not sure that would give it enough credit for the magical adventure the author took me on with his words.
