Aaron Made Simple

"He stood between the dead and the living." (Numbers 16:48)

Aaron was the brother who spoke for Moses -- and bore Israel's names over his heart. He stood before Pharaoh with a rod in his hand. He held up his brother's hands on the hill at Rephidim. He failed God at the golden calf, and God restored him anyway. Clothed in garments made for glory and beauty, anointed with oil, set apart as Israel's first high priest, he carried the twelve tribes into the holy place and ran with a censer into a dying congregation.

Across twelve chapters, Aaron Made Simple walks through his calling, his courage, his catastrophic failure, his restoration, his garments, his ministry, his grief, his boldest intercession, and his death on Mount Hor. Every chapter is Scripture-first and explicitly Trinitarian: God the Father who called and restored him, Jesus Christ -- Son of God and Son of Man, Lord and Savior -- the great High Priest to whom Aaron's whole life points, and the Holy Spirit who alone empowers the priesthood of every believer.

Interceding. Serving. Bearing. That was Aaron's work, and it is yours too.
