Abstract Target

In a lone house in the heart of the desert, a mother and her two children fight for survival day after day — against hunger, thirst, and unbearable isolation. What they don't know is that someone has been watching them from the ridge above, for days on end.

Taylor, a scout sniper with the U.S. Marine Corps, lies in solitary ambush for 24 days at this single house in the middle of the desert, waiting for the leader of the "Sun" freedom movement to arrive. As the days pass, he finds himself witnessing not just a target — but the suffering this family endures with every passing hour.

On the 24th day, the man he has been waiting for finally arrives. Now Taylor is caught between two fires: if he reports it, the house will be leveled by an airstrike; if he doesn't, he will have failed his duty.

What will he choose?
