Publisher Description
Tired of her meddling parents pushing her towards another predictable, wealthy match like her sister, Tara Pierpont is ready to break free. Her chance arrives in the form of a devastatingly handsome waiter at a glamorous Hamptons anniversary party. He's an unexpected breath of fresh air, a symbol of the rebellion she craves.
Jay Bohannon, attending his friend's parents' lavish party, finds himself on the receiving end of a hilarious misunderstanding – he's mistaken for the help. But when the captivating Tara confides in him, confessing her weariness of entitled millionaires and her desire for uncomplicated fun with someone down-to-earth, he's intrigued. He plays along, drawn to her fiery spirit and genuine charm. The delicious irony? Jay is anything but ordinary. He's the very kind of privileged bachelor Tara is desperately trying to avoid.
Prepare for a story of sizzling chemistry born from a lie, hidden truths, and the intoxicating possibility of a love that defies expectations and social barriers.

Customer Reviews
A little deception is sometimes a good thing...
One Long Embrace (Eternal Bachelors Club 5) by Tina Folsom was a great quick read. This is the first book from this series that I have read. The book can be read as a stand-alone from the other books in the series. I am sure that you would get more background information about the Eternal Bachelors Club, if you had read all the books in the series but it not necessary to enjoy this story. This is the first contemporary romance that I have read that was written by Ms. Folsom and she does a great job. I have read her paranormal romances and thoroughly enjoyed them. I will have to add the rest of the books to my TBR list. The plot in this book is well written. The characters are developed and the story and interactions are believable. It is easy to empathize with Tara, trying to get independence from her parents, while they are constantly putting roadblocks in her path. For Tara growing up rich and privileged is certainly an eye-opening as to why she would want the opposite of the guys in her social circle. Jay is certainly likeable. He is wealthy but wants to be accepted for himself. His reasons for deceiving Tara are understandable, even if you don’t agree with him. The personal interactions between Jay and Tara are off the charts HOT. I would certainly recommend this book and look forward to reading more contemporary romances by this author.
On a side note – I think both Tara’s parents need a good swift kick. Snobs.
I was provided with an ARC of this book for an honest review.
No More Rich Playboys!
Another great book in this series. Jay wanted a woman who would love him and not his money. Tara didn't want a rich boy. Loved that they found each other.
