Will
From the moment I laid eyes on Gina Rodrigo, she twisted my whole world on its axis. For months I refused to give into the feelings she evoked in me. I'd gone down that road before and it led nowhere good. But one kiss changed everything and I couldn't fight my feelings anymore. Except she doesn't know my secret and the deeper we get, the more the ghosts of my past threaten to ruin the first true happiness I've ever found.
Gina
Living in San Francisco was my saving grace from the feelings that plagued me every time I was in the same room as Will Edmonson. Our chemistry was insane, but he always pulled away before we got the chance to explore it. Until I got offered a job with my best friend in LA and he finally kissed me. Now I'm falling harder than I ever have, but he's got ghosts in his past and the more I get to know him, the more I worry I can never compete with the true love he already lost.
Across the Middle is the second steamy standalone sports romance in the LA Wolves Series.

Great feel good book!
I loved the first book and this one is just as good.
Loved it! Page Turner!
Will is a famous football player who is hiding a secret that is eating him up inside. After his fiancé died in a car accident, Will feels he doesn’t deserve true love. That is why he has no intentions of dating but he just can’t stay away from Gina.
Gina has bad experience from her previous relationships and she is looking for a guy who truly appreciates her and is willing to fight for her. The first time she meets Will, Gina is drawn to him. The chemistry between them is off the charts but when things heat up, will pulls away.
The book is great. The characters are well developed and realistic. The story line is very interesting filled with angst, mystery, secrets, undeniable attraction and lots of steamy hot scenes. It engulfed me and I was sensing every feeling and emotion Will and Gina felt. It was an incredible experience.

Breaking Free of the Past
Will is a successful football player, with a loving mom and sisters, but he is also hiding a secret that is eating him up inside. His fiancé died in a car accident but no one knows the true details around her death but Will. He feels like he is unworthy of having a true relationship. But when he meets Gina, he cannot help himself. He feels like he does not deserve her but he wants to. Gina is coming off a string of bad relationships and wants someone to fight for her. Will’s hot and cold act in the beginning has made her skittish and Will has to work hard to win her over.
I liked that both main characters love theirs families and make them a priority. I also liked that Will is not afraid to go to therapy and it is portrayed as something that really helps him. Will’s “wooing” of Gina is really sweet as well.
I did read the first book in this series and it does give you a bit more background on how Will and Gina first met. This book still works as a stand-alone but I enjoyed the first book too so it is worth a read.
