ADAM AND THE FIREMEN

I must admit it has been an exciting, history-filled life. From the Great Depression of the 1930’s, WW II, my combat service in the Korean War, Vietnam, the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, the amazing technological breakthroughs, McCarthy times, the Kennedys, Nixon, the Clintons, the Bushes, 9/11, the turmoil with Russia and the Ukraine, the pandemic, the travails of Donald Trump and “January 6” have all contributed to the drama of living. Some of the most rewarding events of those years was watching grandson, Adam Cook, the subject of this book, grow into a man determined to be of value to the community. This book depicts one day of his boyhood.
