Publisher Description

Adithyahridayam - A hymn associated with Aditya or the Sun God and was recited by the sage Agastya to Rama on the battlefield before fighting with Ravana. This historic hymn starts at the beginning of the duel between Rama and Ravana. Agastya teaches Rama, who is fatigued after the long battle with various warriors of Lanka, the procedure of worshiping the Sun god for strength to defeat the enemy. These verses belong to Yuddha Khanda (Book 6) Canto 107, in the Ramayana as composed by Valmiki.

Excellent

I used this ebook to memorize the entire Maha Mantra. It helped me appreciate that the least we can do is express our profound gratitude to Sun God for being ever-present and the eternal witness to everything. Consider this - He is 99.84% the mass of the Solar System. He takes us all on a spin of the Milky Way at a whopping 800,000 km/hour. His light is what causes photosynthesis and hence all life. Respect!
